TUSCANY ENERGY LTD. SPUDS SECOND EVESHAM DINA WELL

TUSCANY ENERGY LTD. SPUDS SECOND EVESHAM DINA WELL

Tuscany Energy Ltd. has commenced drilling operations at a second horizontal location,   16-16¬-39-27 W3, on its developing Evesham Dina oil play in Saskatchewan. The second location is an offset to its first horizontal producing well 2-21-39-27 W3. Tuscany is the operator of the well and holds a 60-per-cent working interest. Tuscany's first Dina well has been on production since January 2009 and is currently producing an average of 40 Bopd (24 Bopd net) and to date has produced a total of 13,700 of barrels of oil.

The new location is in the Senlac Eyehill area where there are over 190 currently producing Dina horizontal wells. Based on Tuscany's interpretation of the geology and seismic, up to 30 wells could be drilled on Tuscany's lands, to fully develop the pool.

Where amounts are expressed on a barrel of oil equivalent (boe) basis, natural gas volumes have been converted to barrels of oil at six thousand cubic feet (mcf) per barrel (bbl).  Boe figures may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation.  A boe conversion of six thousand cubic feet per barrel is based on an energy equivalency conversion method primarily applicable at the burner tip and does not represent a value equivalency at the wellhead.  References to oil in this discussion include crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs).

NEITHER THE TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE NOR ITS REGULATION SERVICES PROVIDER (AS THAT TERM IS DEFINED IN THE POLICIES OF THE TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE) ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADEQUACY OR ACCURACY OF THIS RELEASE.
