Overview

Tuscany's key properties are all located near Lloydminster, Alberta.

As a result of extensive geological mapping, Tuscany has assembled a large land inventory focused on the prolific heavy oil region along the Alberta/Saskatchewan border.

Key to the company's exploration methodology is the presence of bypassed oil pay on old vertical well logs, to mitigate exploration risk.

For instance, management identified that the Macklin and Evesham properties hosted older vertical wells with comparable bypassed oil pay to nearby producing fields Eyehill and Senlac.

After acquiring the land base and proving up the concept with successful horizontal drilling at each property, full-scale development will continue on each while elsewhere, similar early-stage exploration plays like Winter and Meota are advanced.
