Macklin

Tuscany operates, 55% WI (w. Diaz Resources)
Macklin is an exciting new property for Tuscany that will see active drilling in 2012.

• First well IP 100 bopd Sept '11; still at 80 bopd Dec '11 (7,000 bbls produced)
• Second & third wells on-stream Dec '11 @ 120 bopd each (flush production)
• Additional land & 3D seismic acquired; multiple drilling locations identified

After acquiring its initial Macklin land position in 2010, Tuscany drilled a horizontal well that came on-stream Sept '11 at an initial rate of 100 barrels of oil per day (bopd). That same well has now produced 7,000 barrels to date (Dec '11) and continues to produce at 80 bopd.

Tuscany subsequently drilled two offset wells to this producer in November '11; these two horizontal wells have been even more successful than the first, with promising initial production rates of 120bopd per each new well.

Concurrent with recent drilling, the company acquired additional land to expand its footprint and shot 3D seismic over the new lands to integrate into its regional model.

With strong production rates thus far, and a solid technical understanding of the region, Tuscany anticipates an active drilling campaign in 2012 at Macklin.
