In December 2006, Tuscany Energy Ltd. participated in the 02/10-10-54-9W5 Lower Pekisko oil discovery located about 4 miles to the south of the 10-33 location. To date this well has produced 58 Mstb of 31 API oil and 0.3 BCF of gas.
The discovery was based on some proprietary seismic and geological modeling and is being used to develop the exploration well at 10-33. Production in the Wildwood area comes from combination stratigraphic/structural traps. The North Wildwood prospect exhibits both these components of trap development.
